Understanding Your Anesthesia Bill
Anesthesia billing can be confusing. We're here to help you understand every charge and work with your insurance.
Receive Your Statement
You'll receive a separate bill from our group after your procedure. This is normal and expected.
Check Your Insurance
We bill your insurance directly. Your statement reflects what remains after insurance processing.

Our Billing Process & Out-of-Network Claims
We will submit claims to your health insurance carrier approximately 7–15 business days after the completion of your procedure.
Upon initial claim processing, your insurance carrier may issue an Explanation of Benefits (EOB). This document explains how your claim was processed and is not a bill from Acuity Anesthesia Associates.
If your claim is denied or processed as out-of-network, our office will review the determination and, when appropriate, pursue appeals or other applicable payment-resolution processes directly with your insurance carrier, consistent with your plan's requirements and applicable law.
Upon final claim processing, we will provide billing statements, if applicable, reflecting your insurance plan's benefits and your legally permitted financial responsibility. Any patient billing will be subject to applicable federal and Texas surprise-billing protections, including restrictions on balance billing where required by law.
